Mine is supposed to be here this week. $200 USD with discount. What is everyone paying to have the installed? I may do mine myself and have them just flash the box along with the fix to allow the DVD and camera to display while driving in forward. I have "Magic Sticks" which I believe are the only special tools needed. They are used to remove the trim pieces around the center bezel and IP.

Just currious could someone post a picture. Is the factory camera that much nicer than this boyo vtl-200?

I just installed this on my truck yesterday and with the mygig lockpick v2
http://www.coastaletech.com/MYGIG.htm

The installation was fairly straight forward and easy.
What am i missing is the factory camera uber cool?
Thanks
Lee

Thanks W. Stevens

I really appreciate you posting the Part # and Price... Will be ordering one shortly, about at the same time I'm ready for the xenon low beam installation.

Hello all I had an appointment today at 4:00 to get camera configured,
took them 1.5 hours. They did not charge me, maybe cause I worked
there for 17 years as a tech. before going on my own. Anyway camera is working great.

Wow! 1.5 hours. The instructions given that come with the cameral sounds like it should not take more than five minutes including pulling the truck in the bay and hooking it to the truck to the computer.

Here are the instructions:

Park View Rear Back-Up Camera Vehicle Configuration

Vehicle VIN must be updated with the sales code of the added accessory in order to enable system functionality. Using the DealerCONNECT website and the StarMobile diagnostic tool, complete the procedure below:
1.Log on to https://dealerconnect.chrysler.com2.In the “Vehicle Option” screen under the “Global Claims System” category in the “Service” tab, enter the vehicle VIN and add the sales code XAC (Park View Rear Back-Up Camera) as a “Dealer Installed Option”.3.Confirm that the new sales code has been successfully added to the VIN.
With the StarMobile diagnostic tool connected to both the internet (via Ethernet port or wireless connection) and the vehicle, follow the steps below:
4.Using the StarMobile select the VEHICLE PREPARATION and then select RESTORE VEHICLE CONFIGURATION.5.Follow the step by step instructions on the StarMobile to complete the Park View Rear Back-Up Camera vehicle configuration.6.When the Park View Rear Back-Up Camera Vehicle Configuration is complete, go to the Validation Process to verify that the vehicle has been updated.

VALIDATION PROCESS

From the “Initial Start Up” screen on the StarMobile follow the steps below:
1.Using the StarMobile follow the menu to ECU VIEW, select TIPMCGW CENTRAL GATEWAY, MORE OPTIONS, ECU DETAILS and then CONFIG INFO 2.Verify REAR CAMERA PRESET- - - -SET is present.

where did you order it? I have had mine on back order since late March. and it keeps getting pushed back from the manufacturer, unknown why, can't see how you got it so quick, any info would help.

I ordered mine last Friday, I was price checking with dealers and found a wide variety of prices for the camera and install. All I talked with had a backorder for at least a month. The dealer I bought my truck wouldn't even price match with another local dealer over a few dollars.
