My truck is silver and the one who posted them with the Silver ram it looks sexy!

 

would like to see pics of the install, including how there wires were run etc.

 

I'll explain mine, but mine is a weird install since I have the HID lights and I'm using the driving lights as the high beams.

I'm using a relay for the driving lights. The signal wire is coming from the high beam wire. I just tapped into it and soldered it in. Then I have the power wire fused and coming in from the battery. The ground goes to the bolt up on the inner fender near the fuse box in the engine compartment (near the battery). And the output goes to the driving lights (in parallel).

To keep my HID's from going to brights, I unplugged the connector that activates the magnet since these are moving HIDs.

I'll get some pics up this weekend, I've been busy at work. The lights actualy look really good at night in my opinion. Those PIAA 520's are the brightest lights on the truck. I have compared them to HID's and they get noticably more range. Then again you get what you pay for.

 

Put some HID bulbs in it and see what happens

You're comparing apples to oranges. It really doesn't have much to do with the bulb, it's mostly due to the design of the reflector housing. Of course those PIAA's are going to have more range, they are off road lights designed for that purpose. Low beam/High beam HID housings are not designed for range, they are designed for an even beam that stays low to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.

Looks good, the only thing stopping me from putting lights there is because you can see them through the grill in the daytime

 

How do those work behind the grill? I've never tried it, not for me i guess. But, if they work what the hay. I guess it's easier than cutting holes everywhere in the bumper.
