Did you have the tires Indexed? This is were they break the tire from the rim bead and rotate it 90 degrees to try and match it to the rim, may take a couple of times, My dad's silverado was having the same issues, and this was the only fix, this and replacement of one bad tire is what fixed mine, I am on my 7th 45 mile plus trip and no problems, happy again, until the next rotate and balance I guess, we'll see.

Default Good news everybody!!

Hey Everyone I have some good news to report.

Check your front brake rotors!!!

I took the truck to a independent shop (family friends). They test drove and noticed a high speed break wobble.

Here's the fix
1. They took a couple mm off the front brake rotors. Don't ask me how this works but it did. Apparently the rotors were warped.

I can't believe it!!!

Road tested it today. Drove 500 km (Highway from Calgary, AB to Edson, AB).

Happy truck is fixed. Extremely frustrated with the Chysler service. 3-different dealers could not fix the problem. My local dealer had at least 5-attempts to fix.

This independent shop was awesome. The mechanic drove the truck for 5-mins. I was with him.

6-months of pure frustration with dealers, tire shops, ect. 2-hours at independent shop and it seems fixed. NO VIBRATION.

I'll makes a few more trips and update everyone.

For everyone who's not getting results, give this a try. Hope it works!!

Another way to narrow it to warped brake rotors is when you push on the brakes you will get a pulsation in the steering wheel as you come to a stop, and if they were that bad, there is no way you could miss it.

You'd feel it in the steering wheel only if it's the front brakes that are untrue. I wonder if anyone else has bad rear brake rotors and if that would be causing their "wobble".

if you don't have the wobble in the steering wheel but do have a wobble feeling in the brake pedal that is the rears, or check the passenger side seat back, (when you are braking) (with no one in it) if it moves then that could be the rears too

Rears doin't cause a 'wobble' they will cause a pulsation in the pedal.

So no friggin real fix... this sucks..... the wierdest thing is that it changes from day to day. It's not consistent..... some days are horrible... others are fine with no issues.
