Default R/T's are out

Not sure where they were hiding them??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge...fCarsQ5fTrucks

This ran through my mind when I ordered my truck, but in the end I wanted a 4x4. Looking at the pics the production R/T is just a badge, gears, color matched grill and I assume the torque converter along with the 25L (sport) package. Wonder what the dealer would want to put the converter in my 4x4. If they did I would think they may warranty it.

Someone needs to find out if the converter is still in there, that is what made most of the performance boost. Also see the hood did not make it....

Wow, I am glad I did not wait for the R/T to come out, this is a disapointment.

No converter. No hood. No "loud" exhaust. You get a badge, gears and color matched grill over a standard 4x4 sport package. I will dig up what it was suppose to be...

Here is a video. The hood was not on this truck I guess. But you would think if the production got the converter and exhaust it would be listed on the window sticker in the package??

Hey 94 you went with the 14 mufflex...is that basically what the R/T did you think, they spoke about a louder exhaust. I bet the dealer would install that convertor for you if they can get one and then what ever tooling they need to set you up. I would think you are gonna have to get the 4 10 gears too, I don't know if 392 and 410 is that much of a diff but in a hole shot my Durango had 392's and it jumped good, but this HEMI with the 355's is a dog out of the hole but good cuz it saves tires, and I am 4x4 which this R/T they are advertising I don't think is . Wonder if it is available? I am gonna read that sheet again if I missed it sorry.
Let me know what they say about the convertor for sure I hate soft shifts, waste of asbestos.

One the note of the real R/T not a big deal is it and you Americans are paying a lot for that R/T just a single cab, and gears a badge and torque convertor. The seats don't even have the nice R/T at the top or I missed it.

They even have an aftermarket mopar hood that could have made it to the truck would be nice. I wonder if it is aluminum? Maybe we shouldall go to this hood I might.

Sounds like the R/T is a rip-off and doesn't have any of the items people would have wanted from the R/T.

Besides, for $33k they definitely could have thrown in a wing and stickers.

You have to negotiate those type things as extras.
