That's what I was afraid of.
I've also see the custom jobs that they actually lay fiber down and use resin to gloss it. I think It might be easier to paint.
Thanks for the pics.

I could not live with that, I am sorry but that just looks horrendous in a new truck. When it's sunny don't you where sunglasses to protect your vision and also for safety? That seems to solve the shiny problem that I have not seen once yet. My side windows are tinted that might help, how about you guys. Most are I bet.

I can't stand chrome. I wish they would make a plastic replacement. I am going to paint mine. It's not the glare, I just don't like the way it looks.

I equate your statment above to "If you want to have weekly sex with your super hot wife you should have married a wh***"

I Retract all statments in this post its obvious that the chrome ring around the shifter IS the largest problem facing 2009 Dodge truck owners and a solution should be found right away, even if it requires government intervention.

Please tell me there is someone on the planet who agree's that turning off ESP, Removing Speed Limiter, and changing the shift points is a more pressing issue than the chrome shifter ring?

Oh god please dont let me be the only sane person left on the planet.

I sincerly think that painting chrome does indeed change the shift points and overall performance of the truck. Maybe you should paint your chrome to enjoy the benifits that we are recieving.
