is your exterior black?
i was thinking of painting the chrome to match my blue exterior.

 

I wear sunglasses 24-7. They stay ontop of my head when not on my face. I had the windows tinted and a brow installed. It's helped, the only time I get blasted in the face is when I'm leaving for lunch around noon, when the sun is pretty much straight overhead. I'll take a pic of it next time I'm in the truck, it's blinding even with shades on. If the trim was rounded some it might help.

This is a major annoyance in my truck, was thinking about painting mine as well. Now if I could just get that speed-limiter removed, everything would be perfect.

 

Some times you just need those guys around for entertainment. At first I thought he was joking, untill I seen his plee for all of us to become electrical engineers and develop a superchip so he can go 150 mph in a truck. Imagine taking those bends.

 

I really enjoy this post, Its not often that im laughing while reading a thread on a forum. I wasnt even sure what chrome ring we were talking about untill i saw the photos. Here is a copy of my post to the diablosport forum. So i am working on the programmer before the audio system Check out the reply i got from diablosport (In Red). Who else is wlling to offer that just to get us a decent programmer I agree the painted parts look better than the carbon fiber solution. JMO but i think the painted might look better if the paint was color matched to the rest of the dash/console and if it wasnt gloss paint.

We have ESP (Electronic Slowness Protection) cant be turned off in 2wd We have an incredible speed limiter. Im just entering the on ramp / slow lane of the houston toll road getting up to speed and just before i change to the fast lane the Speed Limiter kickes in and kia'a and saturn's go flying by on the fast lane. We have a transmission that will not kick down at 75 - 80mph unless you grab the console shifter and yank it left 4 times! We got 390Hp and a 3:92 rear end and we cant accelerate and we can cruise over 100. of the 390hp we are lucky to be able to use 250hp of it at any given time
Help, Help, Help, We have $$$$$$ please take our $$$$$. Hell you can have my wife and my $$$$.

Actually, that reply was not from a person at Diablosport.

The reply from the Diablosport guy was "LOL, it cant be that bad.
The 09 Ram is scheduled to be worked upon but at a later date, no ETA as of right now."

He is laughing at you, like all of us.

I merged the other day, I had to get in front of a semi doing 70 mph. I put it 3/4 of the way to the floor and it downshifted just fine.

I also floored it on the highway to see how mine downshifts and it went like a bat out of hell from 75. I don't know why you are still complaining and making yourself look foolish to us and the Diablosport forums.

I am sure your wife's sister loves the fact that you posted a picture of her on a car forum too.

 

Im really just having fun. Joking and talking to people about their new truck and what we like and dislike. However i just traded an 05 hemi truck that would run circles arround this truck with a reported 40 less horsepower. As for your post above i havent gotten the impression that anyone was being a real D_I_C_K on this or any other forum untill i read what you just posted. The really cool part is i could really give a sh*t less about what you think or how you feel. I havent agreed with much of anything you have said here and you seem to be a boring holier than thou individual. So maybe i am as you say making myself look foolish but at least im not making myself look like i have a stick permanently wedged up my butt.
