Angry Damn wheels were stolen!!

I was picking up my 09 laramie after getting a 6" suspension lift installed and noticed something didn't look right. My tailgate was down and the plastic draft thing on my tailgate was just hanging on the ground. I go inside to get the scoop and they told me that in the past 2 1/2 hours some F-----g homies had stolen my stock 20" chrome rims and tires from the back of my truck while breaking the tailgate cover. Needless to say I was pissed. I know they are liable and the guy checking me out told me he had a friend w/ an 09 ram that just put 22"'s on it that they would be getting me those. PROBABLY NOT. I asked if they had filed a police report . They hadn't. I made it perfectly clear that I would be satisfied one way or another. Since I had been working with 4 wheel parts for the lift and was set up when I bought my truck, I'm certain that they wont try and screw me over. I talked w/ the sales rep I had been working w/ throughout the whole process and he assured me that I would "be taken care of". I'll figure it out on thursday cause I'm at the fire house tommorrow. Still sucks bad though. At least my truck looks sweet!! Sorry this post was a novel.

I would call my lawyer and insurance company, just in case.

Don't know about a lawyer yet, but most definatly file a police report! That is proof. If something would happen and the don't "hook you up" everyone will say "why didn't you file a police report?" You are right, they are liable and you are liable to be compensated for the cost of the wheels, tires, cover, and any installation charges. That kind of check can help you recover a good portion of your lift kit.

Anyhow, can we get some picks of the lift?

Proof of what? That you called the police? A police report doesn't prove anything in this case unless the shop admits to the theft of the wheels.
