Default Same key fob problem

Heys guys

I had the same problem twice in in the 1100km that i have on my truck now. I took into the dealership for and engine light on and the key fob problem. Engine light was b21a1-ecu reset/recovery occurred, and tech couldnt find anything wrong with the key fob at that time.
Found there was 2 RRT out for my truck with a build date 03 09 parts were order to fix them.

I have also experienced the issue a couple times. Also, like TooFast I also had one time where the lock/unlock button inside the truck would not work. I am with him, the issue is in the truck and nothing to do with the FOB or the wireless connection in the truck.

The problem with this one.... How infrequent it happens. If you happen to be lucky enough for it to occur while at the dealer it will start working shortly after and they will have zero chance of finding the issue. I think the only hope on this one is that it completely stops for someone or it is a computer issue that a flash down the road will fix.

I agree, that is the way it is sometimes with electrical problems etc...Needs to fail in order for a perminant fix.

I had the same thign happen to me today. I needed the key to open the door. It seemed to work fine for a while after that, but it did happen again.

With so many people experiencing this issue I hope they look into it.

it's really odd, i was having the same problems as you guys. About every other time i used mine or my wifes remote, they didnt work. This went on for 2 months on a daily basis and then it suddenly started working perfect. I havent had a single problem with my remotes in probably 2 months. I know this doesnt solve anything but im curious as to why it suddenly started working as the variables were great. Never had the problem with physically lovking or unlocking from inside the truck

I had an issue a couple times with my key fobs not long after purchasing my truck at the end of January. Lately they have worked fine. However just last week I had 2 different instances when I could not lock the doors with the button on the armrest. I always just lock the truck with that button when I'm getting out of the truck, but on that day it wouldn't lock it 2 different times. Hasn't happened since but I'm keeping an eye on it. As you said though, it would be impossible to get a dealer to notice it. Just like my seatbelt chime that goes off every now and then.
