Default Cold Air Kit

Hi All:
Need a little help. Got the windows tinted ,bedliner, running boards, and the Mufflex is due in next week. I now need the cold air kit. Who makes them for the 09 5.7 1500? Search the net and under 09 almost all still list up to 08. The forum has members who say they have them and would like to hear from them where they got them, how hard of an installation it was. Thanks, in advance , for any input you all can provide.

Default other fourms

Do A search for cold air intake in the 4th gen rams and you will find at least 5 threads that discuss this topic, I have the True Flow XDI and am very happy with it...

Smile Simple as pie!

Idid an Airraid system two weeks ago. The instructions are very straight forward and the install took about 20 minutes. The sound was amazing! Wait till you get your mufflex installed..it only gets better!

Thanks for the quick reply.
BJK112 found your unit. Will check further on it. 2009 yellow the only one I can find is for the 4.7 motor mine is 5.7. The search resulted in a lot of threads, that is why I asked for a few reviews and where they were purchsed. I do not want to seen old and
lazy but after a while of searching everything runs together and I don't know one from the other. Also 2009 Yellow mine is yellow also. Tried to post pics but they did not go thru.

Thanks

Airaid is prob the best bet, if you look at the design it actually pulls air from outside the hood compartment.

Default Thats why I chose Airaid.

I went with the Airaid after talking with several trusted mechanics and seeing the design of their system. Love it so far. http://www.airaid.com/ProductDetail....ductID=300-236
Airaid MXP 300-236 is new part number. I bought mine at 4wheelparts.com. They had a 15% off sale a little bit ago. It was $210.00 for the kit.

I don't like the fact that you use the stock air tube with the air raid

You can buy a kit that includes a new tube.
