It went to the body shop to get one side fixed and a new rear bumper replaced and I was given a rental truck until I get it back. They gave me a 09 Silverado. I figured at first 'Cool a new truck I'll see what its like'

And as soon I turned onto the main street when there was an opening I gave her some gas and I was expecting what my Ram would offer me with the speed. To my surprise It took forever to get from 0-80. haha I guess i have to get use to the truck. On top of that the hood design is just ugly. I bet if I hit a deer with this it would roll right up and into the front seats. lol

So glad I didnt buy one of these I am already missing my Hemi

Chevy was onnce king of the streets. Acctually sad that they put out the junk that they do nowadays.

 

Makes ya wonder why that big of a company went bankrupt, the US government and GM are in too much of a partnership for me, not keen on Canada involved in their part because I know that they are closing the last plant here and well who knows how long they will keep the other plants runnning>

Those Chevy owners will never admit their trucks are bad though.

 

When I shopped/drove all the trucks the chevy was the ugliest - those hideous front bumper corners are butt ugly, oversized and ready to take a beating only to be matched by the Z71's wheel well flares.

IMO the new F150 lost it's good looks also.

 

Couldn't agree more and I don't think anyone out there will contest that dodge makes the best looking truck. The biggest thing for me was that those trucks looked to close to the ground.

 

Yeah I test drove all three before buying the best! When the new Chevy/GMC body style came out I thought I had to have one. Then I saw what the 09 Dodge was suppose to look like and decided to wait. Couldn't beat the looks, the power, the comfort or the great deal on the Dodge!

Save Chrysler so I can keep getting the Ram when I get bored!
