23 years old... '09 Laramie Quad 4x4... and I'm probably one of the redneck "hack your exhaust & lift it" posters you don't like :-P

Sorry if I missed it guys I just skimmed over the last 5 pages but OLDJEEP never did say how old he was did he? I am 31. I'm guessing from his attitude towards the younger generations he is late 50's early 60's. I'm also guessing by his name he likes jeeps. DUH jeep owner have allways been and probably will allways be the biggest modders

Yes, I did - 39. My oldest son is 18 and my attitude comes from watching a lot of his friends take new or practically new cars and ruining them by doing kiddie mods to them. (Hacking off brand new parts, making them sound like the muffler fell off, etc) In most cases the cars still have huge loans on them and by the time they are done with them the car is worth about half what is owed on them.

As for the jeeps, yup - I build jeeps for fun, as well as a couple streetrods and some little British cars. Start with a junker and build something out of it.
An observant person would have seen that here http://www.oldjeep.com

Ohhh yes... Old Jeep... I've seen a few cranky posts from him before about any type of modifaction done to a vehicle. If I remember correctly, his opinion was always right too :-P

I havent seen anyone one on here jerry riggin kiddie mods onto an '09... I've put $6500 into my Laramie... and trust me! None of those were "kiddie mods"!
