I will scan it and post when I get chance. What I have is the Dodge magazine touting the new Dodge Ram. It goes into quite alot of detail. However, I have seen multiple tow ratings on different literature and even on Dodge's website itself.

My 22' Travel trailer is also 4400lbs empty. When I first hooked it up the rear end squatted more than I liked. This was in part because of the coils and because I was still set up for my 04 which sat higher (rake) in the back. I turned the stinger around and raised the hitch mount position quite a bit. Now with the sway bars connected I am perfectly level. My 09 is absolutely as stable as my 04 with leafs, lateral stabilty not degraded at ALL and in fact a smoother overall ride. One other tidbit, my tranny temps never got above 174 climbing passes here in Colorado.

You must take it pretty easy on the grades. My '09 Ram quickly hit 201 degrees on the tranny temp this last weekend while pulling a light weight 3000 lb trailer up a long 7% grade in UT. I just left the cruise control set at 78 mph though, and let the transmission downshift a few gears to keep it at that speed (5100 RPM on the tach for at least the last three miles). Engine coolant temp was 216 degrees, and engine oil temp was 254 degrees.

I just left the cruise control set at 78 mph though, and let the transmission downshift a few gears to keep it at that speed (5100 RPM on the tach for at least the last two miles). Yes, beleive it. In passing lanes up similiar grades I hit 70 in no time and was never floored. Was in Tow/Haul all the way.

Early am and evening tows, OAT was in the 70's. I could easily do 60+ up the grades but was held up by Brand X trucks with their superior tow ratings struggling with their loads...........it is odd that my tranny temps run 200 or so in city traffic but <180 when towing up hill.
