Only have 2850 miles on the Ram, needs oil change, do you think the tires need to be rotated or wait until 6000 miles?

Ditto. The dealership didn't mention anything about it. The only free oil changes they were offering is if you bought their super dupper extended warranty.

I also go the same deal, 3 years of free oil changes for my service, but what I didnt know is that it was only 6 oil changes! How do 6 oil changes equate to 3 years I dont know (unless you drive like 20 miles a month). I was pleasantly surprized because I needed an oil change before I got my cupon booklet but the dealership had it in their computer system so I didnt have to pay for it.

I'm also in the military and got that coupon booklet for 6 free oil changes. They never said anything about 3 years though. The service department said I can use them whenever I want to. I didn't even use the coupon when I went in to get it changed. The service department said they know how many free ones I have and how many times I've had them changed. I guess there is some system, however, I don't know if it's for each dealership or all Dodge dealerships.

So I called Chrysler and they said they have no contract and to fax them my bill of sale and a letter about what happened and they willsee what they can do. Should I ask for more since they screwed up? I know it was the dealer but they went under so I have to blame Chrysler lol

Huh, this must be a new incentive. In Dec when we got our truck, we got a 500$ military discount off the price. Is this oil change deal taking the place of that or in addition to? Regardless we got lifetime free oil changes, but we have to pay 10$ for the filter... So I guess its more like a lifetime of discounted oil changes. Anyway, the catch is that I can only utilize this at the 2 local dealerships here in town.

Personally, I think you military people should get free oil/filters for life as long as you don't get a dishonorable discharge! I've never served but have always respected and appreciated those that have and still do. Thank you for your service. Jeff.
