Mine does both, fan stops for second or two, restarts AND recirc door is opening, closing.
The recall was for trucks thru Jan 09, mine was built in February... go figure. It was specific to defrost but thats all I know.
But it stands to reason, if the recirc door or fan were malfunctioning on defrost, you'd see it in the glass. But on AC, it's just a temp change.
I'm back to the dealer for the 3rd time tomorrow!

My truck is one of the early ones built in 8-08. I have not received any recall notice about this. My truck's blower speed for no reason know to me will drop about 50% for a second or two and then back to set speed. It bugs the heck out of me, but I figured it had something to do with "electronics". I have the auto system, but it does it in auto and manual.
