Default Ram Box Top Cap Issues

Anyone with Ramboxes have issues with the top cap(Black covers)? I noticed today that one of mine appears to be warping. We are having some heat here a bit but its not that hot...was about 90 at the hottest where I was on Sunday.

RamPhreak, I have the rambox and live just outside San Antonio, TX. We have been averaging around 96 to 102 in the last month and I don't have any problems with the caps on the box lids. I also park outside directly in the sun. If yours are warping you need to take it back to the dealer and get them to replace or fix them. I do not think that is going to be normal wear for these, at least I hope not. Jeff.

I don't have any issues with the covers on the ram box but the one on the tailgate is warping. A friend of mine works for a Dodge dealership and he said they are aware of the problem and there is a fix on the way.

no issues w/ my caps on the lids either and it's been up to 108 here in dallas.
i do have one of the caps behind the lid popping off though. it looks like it just got dislodged from it's anchor point.

We've had some large temperature ranges, mid 20's to low 90's and no issues w/mine yet. Only had the truck for 6 weeks though. My dealer advised me there is a service bulletin concering this.

My plastic caps are just fine, but my lids don't quite look perfectly alligned when they are shut. They look like they're just slightly protruding up a little. Anyone else's do this? I knew there was a Rapid Response Transmittal for RamBox warpage, but I wasn't sure if this was what they meant or not. My dealer has never said if I have any RRT's, so I guess I'll just have to ask them to check it.

That sounds like the same thing. A little higher in the middle right? The day I noticed it was actually quite higher but seemed to settle down now that its not as warm outside but still up a bit.

Im glad that everyone was able to give some input about the tech bulletin already. THANKS GUYS!!!!!

I tend to notice it the most at the ends of the doors because it's where you can most clearly see that it doesn't fully align with the top of the rest of the bed. It's not real bad, just kinda odd looking. Mine is only a quarter inch max though. Actually I don't know if I'm going crazy or not but it seems like some days I see it, and others I don't. Or even some days it looks like it's ok at one end but the other is still a little high. My only guess is that maybe it's the waterproof gasket pushing up on it a little, because with just a little amount of force, I can push down on it and it will look normal. Maybe Dodge is counting on it settling or compressing over time or something. And maybe I'm just overly ****. Idk.
