Lifted trucks just look good. I didnt get a 4WD either....mainly becasue I drive my truck daily almost 100 miles. The extra cost and the decreased gas mileage made no sense in my situation.

However, I love the look of a lifted truck. It looks bad ***.

99% of the folks that have a 4wd don't use them anyway.

While it may seem that way on the surface, it's really not that simple. 2wd trucks are rated for higher fuel economy and it's not just b/c they have to haul around less weight. Additionally, 4wd trucks also have more maintenance associated with them.

I've owned my share of 2wd trucks in the past (actually all 3 of my Rams), but I'm back to a 4wd, b/c I actually need it again. I don't regret not having it in the past.

^^^ Cool truck, but its still only a 2WD...

JUST KIDDING Truck looks great! 2WD or 4WD, some need it some don't simple as that!

I will say mine hasnt come out of 4WD Auto/4WD yet since November, so whomever made a comment about not using 4WD 90% of the time is full of horsesh*t... move to a place with more snow and ice, then speak...

i have a 99 2wd as well and i cannot decide between the 3.5 or 5 inch lift, but now i see in your sig you have a 4inch lift, where did you purchase this and for how much, i cannot find it anywhere thanks, and i perfer a 2wd over 4wd because its more of a challenge and it not an extra 1000 pounds you gotta drag arund, and honestly in tx the mude dont get that deep, but 4wd is still nice when it does. thaks for the help,
trent
