Yup, rear seal is missing and so are the 2 pieces of double stick tape that hook it to the side seals. Better get ahold of BAK and hope that they don't claim your missing seal is an act of god :LOL:

thanks for the pics oldjeep, I bought the cover through performanceparts4less.com and just emailed them. It looks like in one pic my side seal is shorter than yours, I did a comparision here...

Bummer, looks like you need a side seal too - unless the missing length from the one side is slid up past the front of the BakFlip.

The cover I received about two weeks ago looks just like yours does moparfreak, there is no extra seal sticking out along the tail gate side of the cover, But I thought that was what the small rubber ones on the bottom side where there for, to seal it. I wonder if they made a change? Did you get the G2 or the HD, I ordered the G2 but i received the HD instead.

Too bad for you. The HD dents really easily, the G2 seems to be a better cover.

Sounds like someone on the assembly line is screwing up. Without that rear seal there is going to be a bunch of water coming in from the back side.

It's no different than the cheap hoods that we have on these trucks.

aluminum hoods usually don't fair to well in a hail storm either.
