The truck is red so the grill looks pretty sweet , i just didn't want to be getting an odd truck by chance thanks for the replys

 

I am in Canada and the body coloured all around was what made me buy the truck, now I just have to get around to taking off those horrendous RAM badges on the doors, I will leave the Hemi sticker but the RAM has to go.
I have a black truck mine would look more like a Laramie with chrome on it, I love the colour matched bumpers but especially the door handles being colour matched.

 

I was just thinking we don't get very many things that you don't over there like lifetime drivetrain warranty for one, not only that even after exchange rates you guys still pay way less and get way more, so everyone cheaping out and buying ST's and then trying to make them look like a Sport or Laramie, just spend the money and get the right vehicle you are getting it dirt cheap anyway. My Uncle paid less for his 09 Sport which is not an R/T but just the same missing the R/T badge. He paid more for his 04 Ram that he traded I think he only got 8000 trade.

 

Don't know if I'm suppose to do this here or not. But if anyone is interested I have a chrome grill out of my truck that I'm will to let go. PM me if your interested and we can make you a good deal.

I just bought my 09 sport, Brilliant Black and was not to happy with the chrome grill so I ordered the R/T grill off of Ebay and it should be here today.

 

I think all the Sports should come with a painted grill. My guess is that it was cheaper for them to use the chrome grills, that's why they made the switch after the initial PR photos were released. Canada is a smaller market so they probably just let them slide with the painted ones. Just my thoughts though. They all look better IMHO with the painted shell. Silver is the only color that is a toss up but I've got a painted grill here anyway, just came today. Will try both and then decide. But the rest of the colors, there is no question in my mind which is the better looking grill on a Sport.

In case anyone is interested, here is a list of the grill part numbers that I know. These are TRX4 painted shells with black honeycomb inserts. You can take your chrome inserts off the old shell and use if you think you'd like that look. It's up to you. The list price is somewhere around $299, can usually buy for between $215-240. Double check before ordering but this should be the number you need unless they get updated.
