owned a 2nd gen. slt; 3rd gen laramie; now a 4th gen laramie; loved the 04 but 09 is were its at, love it!!! motor is sweeeeet!!!, 390 hp and gets better gas mileage, all it needs is a 6 speed auto and a set of 100.00 airbags, since they upped the tow rating I would like to see a head to head with the Ford with the heavier load, hemi would rule!!

 

as a 3 x F150 owner, 04, 05 and 06 ( Ford started offering bucket seats with center console shifters on 04 and up - too sweet to pass up on ), the 09 Ram was nice enough to make me buy it over the 09 F150. Dodge couldn't do it with the 3rd gen. But I do agree it does not 'look' as massive as the 3rd gen's...
