What about cutouts?

You can run loud and obnoxious with the cutouts open, then close them up for a quite run when needed. Cops might not like the loud straight pipes, nor will your neighbors when you roll home late in the evening.

lol very true, i might just drop some glasspacks in it, or run str8 pipe wiht a flowmaster race muffler so i dont get in any trouble for not having a muffler, but idk if that would mess up the backflow or not, thats really the main issue...

I'd talk to flowmaster. They should know. I'd have to say no but I am sure they would know. They have a whole article on back pressure.

it gets real technical.. things like pulsing rhythm and scaveging... I would do a little research into it before i just opened them up...

wasn't there a guy on here a long time ago with a electronic cut out for his exhaust?

that was cool.. one push of the button and you have open pipes

flowmasters are the best, you could take a hammer to a flowmaster and not even make a dent in it and sound the best. I think but im not sure but magnaflow is a sub-company of flowmaster.
