Default Leveling Kit question

I just installed a rough country leveling kit on my 09 Ram CC 1500. After installation, it looks to me that the front end is now higher than the rear end. I followed the instructions pretty much to a T. Looking for any suggestions on why it is that way, or any suggestions on how to fix it.

How many inches was the leveling kit? Sounds like it is too much. I have heard of this before, even with a small spacer. There is no way to adjust the height of the front or rear end.

I think you can put spacers under the rear too, that should bring the rear height back up.

It is supposed to be 2.5" in the front and 3/4" in the rear.

when i did my measurements when searching for a drop kit the back was exactly 2 inches higher than the front

according to your measurements the back should be .25" higher than the front..

maybe different trim levels have different hights... trx, slt & laramie are known to have different rated springs.. maybe the height is different also... 2wd v 4wd have different heights also

should have took measurements before you put the kit on to see where your specific truck is at

But you didn't actually put a spacer in the rear right?

one of my buddies that helped me, did measure the front before we put it in. When we were done, he said it lifted the front almost 4". Yea I did put a spacer in the rear also. The kit came with front and rear lifts.

Also i don't know if when i get a front end alignment if that will help at all or not. If it dosen't, i might just take it back out and send it back. There was someone else on here that had the same thing, and his truck looked good.

Call them tomorrow and ask them what they think before you do all that work. They may have an easy solution, plus, they should take into account for future customers that your truck does not sit as advertised.

Default Rough Country

Crap this is the kit I was going to install as well. After you talk to rough country give us an update.

Curious though, how did the 2.5" spacer in the front raise it 4"? Is there something else you install or do besides fit the spacer?

The rear should be .25" higher than the front, I think.

I'm going to try and take measurements of my stock ride height tomorrow. I've got the Hemi SLT 4x4 QuadCab...anybody know the best way to to do this? Ground to the bumpers? Distance from top of tire to wheel well?
