Default 09 1500 laramie exhaust, suggestions please!

Alright, I purchased the 2009 dodge ram 1500 Laramie, and it has been a great truck. I recently installed a magnaflow performance muffler, and I am not impressed with the loudness. I would like to change to a flowmaster and or something that makes my truck sound really loud, beafy and just flat out bad to the bone.. What muffler, or what should i do to make my truck sound really loud and really good.

Did they leave the resonators on? Most do but if you want loud, that is most likely your problem.

what size muffler did you have installed? the 14" magnaflow is probably what you want.

I have a Flowmaster Super 44. I just took it to the dealership and when they were driving away I started laughing because it sounded so good. The only thing is that it resonates in the cab on the freeway, but it was well worth the 90 bucks for the muffler. I'm happy with it, but i've never used magnaflow.

yea, i had the resinators cut off and everything, im thinking about just dropping some glasspacks in it, that should make it loud, but some say that it will mess up the backflow, is this true?

If you want really loud then I would go with the 14" magnaflow mufflex with no resonators..I have that muffler but with the resonators and it is pretty damn loud for me..It isn't bad in the cab when I am the highway either..The only time that you can really hear on the highway is when I get down on it..But I am very happy with the magnaflow..

Does removing the resonators mess with your factory warranty?
