Default Tilt Mirrors

I have an 09 Ram QC Hemi 4x4 SLT. In my manual it says you can set the mirrors in the evic so they will tilt down when you put the truck in reverse. There is no option for this in settings on my evic. Is this an option that not all trucks came with? Thanks

I think it's only on the Laramie. Plus, it will only tilt the passenger mirror, from what I understand. I know a couple of people were asking about flashing the EVIC to unlock this function, but I've got no idea if they ever figured out how.

On my Hummer H2 both the driver and passenger mirrors would tilt down to make it easier to see the lines when reversing into a parking spot. I loved that feature.

I believe it is only available for those who have the memory seats.

My Laramie has it, yes it does have memory seats. It also does tilt both mirrors, I had it on for a little while but found it annoying when not parking just backing up.

I have this turned on and love it sure makes parking a breeze and when used with the back up sensors you get back the lost distance vision.

Yes, you need to have the memory seats to have the tilting mirrors and it does do both mirrors.

I personally think its a great feature and it helps me back out of my driveway each morning without rolling over the grass (I have a funky shaped driveway). My friends BMW had this and I always wished my '07 Ram had it. Now I am happy and I have more features than my friend's BMW.
