Yes, stepping on a frog is a great analogy for this sound. If you guys who are going to let the dealer know about this could keep us informed on what it is and if they fix it or not that would be great. Otherwise, I will be mentioning it to my dealer as well at the next oil change.

Thanks guys.

Took it in, and they pulled it a part and greased the spring inside, works much better now, no noise

I will mention it when I get the PCM reflashed again.

pagey: Is it something that they were able to fix in a short amount of time? If I were to take my truck in for an oil change would they be able to fix this brake issue at the same time? Just kind of wondering how long it took them to fix it.

My pedal is really getting very annoying now, so I will definately have to mention it.

Thanks.

Mine too. Not all the time however, maybe just a little grease will fix this!

They had my truck for two hours, that included HVAC recall, they also did a ABS software update, and another for the rough idle. It still has a bit of a clicking sound when being pushed down, but the creaking is gone. Maybe next oil change I will address that as well.

Yeah, mine does it too. I have about 14,500 miles on mine.
