I ordered my Predator yesterday. It should arrive later this week, and I can't wait to try it out on my truck.
I came across this dyno chart on the web that is tagged as a 2009 Hemi Ram with the 87 tune. Pretty impressive numbers.

Quote: Can we get some true hand calculated MPG's? My computer claims 14.5 when i'm really getting 13

Mine has been almost dead nuts on this truck. On my '06 I'd be way off, but on the R/T it's been within 1/2mpg, if not right on, every time I've checked it.

And it looks like they are comparing computer to computer numbers anyways. If you want hand checked numbers, make sure they go back and do it for the pre-tune as well.

So round trip was 136.3 miles. ~20 miles of which was city, and I idled ~5 min. waiting to get through gate of the particular base that I traveled to. Rest was hwy. 57* there 77* back. I filled up before i left until the pump clicked off, and filled up the same way upon returning. Same station same pump. It took 6.803 gallons which works out to be almost exactly 20mpg.

Incidentally, when I stopped at the pump the EVIC read 20.1 mpg. Maybe the more you go back and forth between hwy and city, the more skewed the EVIC becomes. I know it is closer sometimes than others. I have seen the miles to empty go up by a mile with the ignition switched to on and the motor off.

SOOOOOOO.............If I read this right, our trucks have 295 hp and 305 tq stock???? What the H?

The tune gives us 310 hp and just shy of 330 tq. Am i reading this wrong?

Dyno's vary and IIRC that pull was done in FLA in late August or early September. That is the lowest pull I've seen yet though.

I think you are reading it right. But I would focus not on the total number--but rather the gain. Dynos and conditions vary so greatly--thats a 15 hp gain and 20 Tq gain, and thats not even taking into consideration the reduction on factory TM thats now removed.

I have seen dynos somewhere posted that have the stock HP at 310-315- -much more in line with what you would expect. Those dynos were pulled in colder air for sure..but you get the point.

so true, when my F150 was dyno'd we observed a 13 rwhp increase on two pulls done less than 5 minutes apart. Only change was wheeling a 52" barrel fan infront of the truck. That thing was like a wind tunnel when you cranked it in high, more of a simulation of driving 60mph.

As said above, I posted the graph to show the inceases in HP and Torque the 87 Diablo tune was able to make on a stock hemi Ram at the wheels. Different brands of dyno's measure power differently so you can't compare dyno brands against eash other. This one show's numbers at the wheels, which for me is most meaningful. Manufactures publish HP & TQ numbers measured at the flywheel which does not take into account drivetrain losses.

Look at the curve too, rather than just peak numbers. It gets got a lot more hp/tq all the way throughout the powerband.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....take "stock" numbers from aftermarket companies with a grain of salt. They want their product to look as good as possible.

Anyone contemplating this purchase I say do it. It really awakens this truck. Have you heard anyone say anything bad about this mod yet. Granted it is a new mod but there are atleast 15 guys on here and other forums raving about it. With the 87 tune I picked up 1.3 mpg hand calculated (same as computer) and picked up 1.5 hauling my 28 foot travel trailer. Doesn't shift near as much hauling either which I am sure saves my tranny a little.
