Diablo needed a truck to test out their new tuner of the 09 ram and I have volunteered.

So Monday morning I will be up at their shop while they work on my truck and test the new tuner.

I will get a free tuner and dyno numbers on my truck.

You can all thank me later, lol.

 

I'll thank you now. You rock. I was almost ready to drive down there and get a room for a week. Did they tell you how close they were? The info they put out on thier forum is vague at best.

 

They claim it is done and just want to do some tweaking and publish real Dyno numbers. They anticipate to work on it 1 full day but may need it for 2.

I am stoked.

They offered to pick up the truck and leave a loaner but I opted to drive it to them and see their operation myself.

If it is anything like the ones for the later models you are going to love it!! Did they work out the part throttle shifts for the 09's or are you guys going to be stuck with just the partial up shifts?

I let AEM use my truck to developed an air intake... i still haven't got the free one they are supposed to give me.

But to their credit the guy just emailed me yesterday with an update and on it and they should be getting me one soon.

BUT like you they promised me a rental, dyno numbers and 1 day turn around...

reality: took a week, rental was a ford fusion eww, no dyno numbers and lights on my dash were illuminated... i had to go to my dealer to get the lights off... i think they were the esp light and some other...

they said they couldn't figure out why during the morning they would get a dyno number and then just an hour later there would be like a 70 hp difference...

hope everything turns out better 4 u... make sure you get them dyno numbers!
