thanks guys. i really like them. i prefer the amber lights myself. i dunno about the LEDs....i dont want my hood shining in the dark and not bein able to see down the road, good idea tho.

as far as the connector, im not for sure boss. i had it installed at my truck shop in abilene, texas (rhino lingings and truck accessories of abilene) they do everything on my truck...well they did. i just recently got to korea and had to store my truck in my barn up in ohio for a year. but if i just put parking lots on, they come on, and obviously when you have the headlights on. i really want to get the mirrors with the amber lights and tint them to complete the lights.

I've had the Recons on my truck since the spring of '06, not a hint of a leak to date. The key is to to use some silicone on the bases where the plastic meets the base and to seal the screws. I "painted" over the screws with clear nail polish after tightening them down when I got done.
I will see just a hint of condensation inside the lenses at times when the humidity is really bad here in the south, but I've never had enough to cause any issues.
I opted for the clear lenses because the bases are chrome and felt that matched my stainless/chrome and diamond plate trim better than smoked lights and black bases would.
