Most of you are aware I have another thread called Advice for Showdown. I am taking my truck to the track on Tuesday. Make some predictions for my 1/4 mile times with trap speeds.

392 Rears
20 inch rims and tires
93 Diablo Tune

Has anyone else been to the track?

my prediction is this thread will sound like that show "pass time" on speed network

 

14.7-14.8@93-95 mph

 

I tradded in my 08 350z for my Ram, and it did 14.1 @ 104 stock. 14.7 or so for a Ram is pretty good.

 

14.4 @ 96....... You can bet on this, just work on your launch.

6.43 and 6.36 in 4wd
2wd was 7.86 and 7.23. I received my Mike Wilson tune today and it has truly unleashed the beast. Problem is that the thing wont hook up in 2wd. I will need to practice practice practice my launches. He said he reduced the TM quite a bit. Feels like there is Zero TM.

Two runs last night.

Best run was 14.776 at 93.38.

Improvements- I need to get 2wd to hook so I don't have to launch in 4WD
- My custom tune has me shifting about 25 yards short of finish. It's either wind it out or shift and lose the RPMs. either way I am losing time here.
I think had I had another run I would have posted even better than this.

All in all I am happy with a 14.7 in a 4x4 crewcab with 20's.
