Has anyone tried this?
I was just wondering if anyone has tried this CAI? Looks like it would work pretty good. I just not sure which damn CAI to buy?

you might want to request more pics before you buy this. just see how far down that intake goes. you wouldn't want it to low and get water sucked up your intake. (if you live in conditions where this is possible)
that would be my main concern too. i have been in water where it was up through my headlights for a couple seconds. something like that and i would have been screwed...Probably shouldnt have been in that deep to begin with. water was comin in through the doors and stuff
Thanks guys..I havent desided what CAI I am wanting to buy. I think that I am going to wait until K&N comes out with theres. Again, thanks alot guys for your inputs.

Agreed. The Dodge engineers spent a lot of resources drawing 50 more HP out of the 5.7 Hemi. If they could have gotten 21 more with a tube and a filter I think they'd have probably done it. Most your gonna get out of any CAI is 10 HP and that is mainly because of the filter media. Ram air is a different story. It is just a pita to tune for.
Even in Southern California water is a concern. Speaking first hand when my SRT-4 decided to go scuba with the Mopar CAI in it as I made a turn on a rainy night. Gulped up a whole 2 ounces and hydro locked @9500 miles. Good thing insurance covered it. That set-up placed the filter about a half inch above the bottom of the front facia in front of the wheel. Literally 150' from my house.
