Take off the TM and don't forget the drag radials!

Another vid. This was a 13.84 run. The mustang almost gets in at the end, but the Ram's reaction time was too much to overcome. It's a supercharged 4.0 in the ford, funky sounding thing.

Yeap, you got that one by the reaction time. 13.84 to 13.82, he was faster but asleep at the lights.

Nope, he was quicker lol. The truck was still faster through the traps mph-wise. I would have thought he'd have the mph by catching up to me, not sure how that worked...must have been shifting or something.

Sorry, I couldn't hear the MPH on the vid. The quicker ET and slower trap speed indicates that the super charged V-6 in the Mustang is putting down more torque than your truck. Your higher speed means you have the advantage with the horsepower. Your ET should drop quite a bit with the reduction or elimination of the torque management. Are you planning to get the Diablo?

Any way you cut it, is was pretty close! .012 et, .3mph, .15rt.

I'd like to do the tuner eventually, but I'm happy with the truck right now. Maybe in the spring. You still need a custom tune on top of the Diablo to cut out TM too.

I'm interested to see if the diablo would need tweaking for the r/t, with the converter being different and I think the shifts are programmed differently too. Not sure if it would make a difference or not.

Diablo takes out some TM, its just a custom tune takes out most of it.

Not to steal your thunder Judustu, a memeber of another forum just ran a 13.751 in a bone stock RCSB (non R/T). I know you know this, just wanted to share that time in this forum as well. I think this means you could see 13.5 or lower with your R/T!

Yeah, he couldn't wait to get to the track after seeing my times lol.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I really don't think the R/Ts and the stripped down 5.7 slts are gonna be much different. The overall gearing is similar (stock 17s and 3.92s are pretty close to stock 20s and 4.10s) and the rcsb slt weighs less.

That being said, I'll pry hit the track again soon... I do think there is more in it. My 13.75 run was at 99.8 mph.

I think I will, stir it up a little bit, now that you guys set the mark. Only rule will be that they have to be stock since jdustu was stock. I hate to say it, but i dont know if A RCSB tundra can hit 13.7XX stock. Maybe, we're not exactly slugs.
