Priorities. If I made $9.50 an hour I wouldn't be driving a new vehicle, especially a 40K truck.

ivaskaj, I hope things pick up for you. I know this economy is hurting a lot of people right now. I'm just not sure I agree with your plan of attack on "saving" money. I would get rid of the unneeded (new truck) and stick with the needed (food, shelter).

I've used it in a couple classic cars and it does a good job of sealing off the steel and preventing rust.

While the humidity is higher in FL, condensation is just as big a problem for stored vehicles in places like MN because of the temperature swings.

But if you want to start having real problems, keep using Stabil. The only issues I've ever had gumming up motors were when I put that stuff in the tank. Smokes like a pig and that stuff really gunks up the carbs.
Well I guess you don't know it all, because there were many boats made this way into the late 90s (check out Fla. Sportsman Magazine), haven't had any problems yet with stabil been using it works good, no smoke, and as far as my boat it is a mercury 225 EFI starts right up, only smoke is from the 2 cycle oil.

You say tomato and I say tomatoe! We can do this all day, ain't this fun. Have some fun with research, you might be surprised. Have a good day, and stay warm.

This thread is way off-topic, let's try and keep the discussions relevant to the OP. All else is useless arguing, take it up in PM, IM, Email, wherever but on the open forum

IVASK.thank you for posting, when I got mine with 3:21 gears I was CRUCIFIED for posting my MPG's, and I didnt even tell the better ones, I did mine hand calculated, and @55 when the signs state it here on some roads, I could get over 20...but a lot didnt want to hear that, it was (IMPOSSIBLE), and the funny thing is i only posted 21.8 MPG, so I pulled the posts. great numbers

You know what I like about the use of ethanol in Gas? e85 has some serious octane numbers, but besides that the of corn, thus the higher corn prices has driven the use of HFCS out of drinks and other sweetened items, and been replace with REAL SUGAR. I welcome our higher corn prices if it keeps actual sugar in use over the corn substitutes.

I still get 19MPH city/highway mix on e10 in my 4x4. If the use of Ethanol keeps the fuel prices lower, you're net zero and supporting corn growers. I'd call that a win win.

This morning I had mine in 4x4 high because we have snow here. At an average of 25MPH in all city traffic (lots of lights) my EVIC read a best of 17.8MPG. I did not confirm it by hand, too cold to be filling up so often yet.

Unlike most people, I am in no hurry to move out and live on my own. I still live at home.
