JC1390:
I won't call you an a**. It was interesting info you have shared. I will state that excess speeding (120mph) on any public road is not appropriate. Many on this site do not condone street racing. We encourage racing be taken to a track where the environment is more controlled. Enjoy your truck, for as long as it lasts.

I can do well over 120 in my 72 chevy pickup and it has original front end of course new parts.so I assume this front end can handle it. Tires are the only thing I wouldn't trust for any longer that to get to that speed then reel her in. Sounds like a fun plan, I am gonna go rip up the highway.

I have hand controls, I guess I will have to have someone hold the key on for me. I wanna do a HEMI quality burnout, just one, right in front of my house. I will make sure no kids or cars around.

For others who have got the assend with 3 55's should I hang on for dear life or is this gonna be less than the 2 strips I can leave with my 72 chevy for 30 feet?

you got lucky last time I talked about speeding they went as far as calling me a murderer even though the only accident I have ever been in was when a drunk driver hit me.

As for your tires not being able to handle it, I moved up to z rated 22's and feel no change in handleing from 70 to 160.

If you live out in the sticks, there is nothing wrong with driving fast on a public road. Down here, there are miles and miles and miles of roads with NOTHING on them. Not everyone is a city slicker, you know.

Fast, yes. 105+, completly uncalled for. FYI, I don't live in a city either.

You go country boy, I used to go camping in Northern MI. and there was a road that was winding and you could not help but goose it as fast as whatever you were driving could handle it.
I wonder why we all have these 390 HP trucks...to go to race tracks. There is not a race track within 100 miles of me so whatever open road that has no traffic on it might become my racetrack.

It's very difficult to resist the temptation of opening it up on a straight and empty road. What's wrong with it if there is no one but you out there? I wouldn't do it in town or near town though, get dinged with a ticket that would break the bank. San Antonio to Houston usually averages about 80-90, and that's with traffic.
