I've taken 250 mile drives with it resting on the bumpers without a mark.

I did have an issue where the rails were damaged on delivery and the folks at Bakflip were very cordial and helpful and sent me out a new set right away. Then I realized I had a slight leak and they sent me weather stripping to fix it.
I got a G2 installed today. It also had one rail damaged. A new one is coming, but I have it on in the meantime.

Q: What "bikes" do you put in the bed?

I ordered my G2 because it is supposed to give full access to the bed. But when I just picked my truck up and looked at it in person (for the first time), I saw that it still cuts off about 10" or so of the front of the bed.

The whole reason I went with a BAKFlip was so I can carry my motorcycles in the back without removing my cover. But, looking at it, I'm highly skeptical that I will be able to fit a bike in there, with the wheel up against the front of the bed, without hitting the cover.

I have an '05 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and a KTM 525EXC.

Any words of wisdom for me?

well, now I'm back to the mopar. Dealer called me and said they can qualify me for a $400 credit on mopar gear b/c I am titling the truck in my company name... so I told him to go ahead and order me the ipod integration kit and the mopar cover. I think it is for the best though, seems as if you cannot find any plastic g2 versions anymore...

Bakflip F1 is fiberglass reinforced, just ordered one, after I wrote them off on the older HD, the new f1 is also the same price now as the HD, didn't want the extang solid fold b/c it sat on top of the bedrails and the mopar you have to cut the front stake pocket holes out and it also sits on top of the rails, I'll see how the f1 does and report and picture.

I got my BAKFlip last Thursday. So far, I am definitely disappointed in a few things.

1) One of the rails had some strange cuts in it. The factory is shipping my dealer a replacement rail, so that's really no big deal. It works in the meantime.

2) I had the Mopar chrome bed rails. The dealer had to remove them to install the BAKFlip. Either that, or cut off some of the rubber trim on the sides of the BAKFlip.

3) Now that it's on, I see that it totally does NOT give you "full use" of the bed of the truck, as advertised. Last night, I tried loading up one of my motorcycles and it hits the BAKFlip a good 6" before the front wheel would touch the front of the bed. :-(
