i get a flicker here and there, I have the capacitors...

I am going to add the relay soon that is in my garage to get clean power from the battery, I think that is the problem.

A relay won't take out the flicker, it's in the vehicles electrical system. It's the computerization of the electrical system - most HID systems are 35 watts, the incandescent halogen lights are 55 watts. If the computer senses that less power is being pulled, it must mean that a light is out, therefore disrupting that circuit and causing an error. The cancelers pull the 55 watts, but don't pass it on to the ballast so the system will work flawlessly.

You need cancelers to eliminate the flicker. If you want to run a relay so you're not using the truck's headlight circuit that's fine, but once again a relay won't eliminate the flicker.

I installed HIDs(not twiggy') with cancellers and didn't have a problem. I was having other issues with the truck, not related to the lights. The dealer replaced the TIPM module(front fusebox), on my home from the dealer my left headlight would not come on. I installed a relay and have not had an issue since, other than a little flicker on start up.

I totally agree with a relay. I too had flickering and a light not coming on at times. I added the relay and all is perfect now.

I dont know why everyone is getting flicker..
I just had a problem yesterday for the first time since I put them in the truck back in February. I hit a monster puddle at highway speeds and I cooked a ballast, luckily had a spare from my car and put that in. No problems with flicker ever, this is with quad lights. I bought some cheap cancelers off of ebay.
