I really hope that mine gets shipped out before they shut down, as I know it is sitting at the Warren, MI plant. I get all of my info directly from the owner of my local dealership. They are a pretty sizable dealership, so not sure if that matters. I believe he is pulling up the info from their site online, as he told me all of the info he gives me is a day old, meaning that the status from yesterday is updated for him to see today... the new estimated ship date was supposed to be 12/9, as of yesterday, but I'm not putting any stock in it till I get word that it is on a carrier and is on it's way.
Ok, I got news from the Military exchange new car sales that my truck is scheduled to be built the week of 11 Jan and delivered in Feb. However, I called Dodge and I was told it is still in D1 status (started production 2 Dec) and that there is an estimated ship date to the dealer on 11 Dec.?.? Who knows?
Anyways, since the guarantee for Military encs is "guaranteed delivery" and it probably won't make the date of 15 Dec (the day I wanted it), they are going to compensate me by giving me $150/wk until I take delivery! Mod money!

Nice, yeah I talked to the owner of the dealership again and he told me that my Sport is in G status, and is "supposed" to ship out before they shut down for the holidays. He said that the regional rep said anything in less than G status will not ship out b/f the shut down, meaning that 1/11 is the first day back for the plant workers. For your situation, if the info I received is correct, I would say early Feb is realistic for your delivery. Sucks, but the extra cash will make it worth it!
