Exclamation Need help

Gentlemen...

I was giving the opportunity to purchase the "Added Care Plus" lifetime warranty. As explained by the finance manager this plan is not the limited lifetime warranty but a $100 deductable plan which includes the following:

1,000 Trip Allowance
Roadside Assistance
Rental Car

All motor, tranny, shocks, etc are covered as well.

Ok so now the question. He started with 3,800. Went to 3,200 and now at 2,900. I need to give an answer monday morning.

Do I do it?

I paid 1595.00 for the max care with a 100.00 deductible. He is ripping you off for 2800.00. For 2800.00 it should be the max care with 0 deductible.

Not true. He has a 2010 which doesn't come with the lifetime powertrain like the 2009's did. That is why the policies were so much cheaper for the 2009's

So since it is a 2010 it is going to be more? Is this because of the 2009 life time already? Is the 09 life time limited? What did 09 come with?

The 09 has a 3/36000 bumper to bumper after that the Lifetime Power Train Warranty kicks in.If you want rental car coverage, I'm sure your insurance company has something a lot cheaper. The one thing that always sticks in my mind about these expensive extended warranty's is they are'nt worth the $$$, I've heard this over and over from automobile experts.I had one of these on my 2000 GT Mustang, with a $150 deductible, it seemed like every repair covered under this warranty was under $300, minus the deductible I was still paying for half the repair.Just my 2 cents..................................Kevin.

I just bought my 2010 last week and only payed 1600 for the extended that you were talking about. Covers everything that you said I dont know why they want you to pay more.

Go to Dodge's website. You can choose and pick what you want based on mileage and/or years on both warranties. It will give you the price..eliminates the dealer.

My 09 I purchased 6 years total warranty no deductible for 1600 C. Not bumper to bumper ,won't cover stuff that wears out like brakes, bulbs, but will cover a/c, heater, hoses, drivetrain...no deductible.

Go here to get a quote: http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com/

People on another forum have posted that the pricing there runs about $100 over dealer cost.

Ok so I got him down to 2k. Probably could have gotten it for less but 2k over 10yrs for a lifetime is worth it to me.
