Question 305/55/r20

Has anybody tried this tire size ? Pirelli makes it in their ATR Scorpion. It is 33.2" dia with a 12" section width and 11" tread width, so it is about an inch wider than factory. The factory 20" clad wheels are 8" wide with 5.75" backspacing. If I'm going to get the wider tire and aftermarket rims, would it be a good idea to look for something with a little less backspacing to avoid any rubbing issues ?

Default yeah, I have...

Just installed them on my 2010 Sport 4X4. I went with BFG AT KO's. No issues at all so far, they look great and I don't see them rubbing anywhere. I had them on my 2006 as well and no probs there either.

Like Crod says, I think the rims are 9", so mounting these tires isn't a problem at all, and from my perspective neither is clearance.

Yeah I had that size on my 03 HemiRam and they were great. I ran the BFG all Terrain TA KO's as well. The are the best winter tire out there. I changed to the TOYO's Proxes for spring/summer.

Now I have my 09 HemiRam and I have to buy them all over again!
Only problem is the BFG's are $375.00 each UGGGHH!!

There are two different widths of 20" wheels, the standard 20 is 8" wide and the chrome clad 20 is 9" wide.
