Mirror lights
Anyone taken them apart yet? One of the lights (more than one bulb on a side) is out on my truck. Quick inspection was it is not to obvious (was dark at the time). Maybe something between the mirror and housing?
When you open the doors two lights come on. One towards the inside, one towards the outside. Passenger inside went out. I actually saw it flickering one night. The next night it was out. Based on the flicker it may just be loose. Just need to know how to remove the cover. As I mentioned, no obvious screws ect. I will look at it in the light tomorrow, but I have to guess something behind the mirror I have to push on.
You have to remove the mirror glass first to gain access to the screws behind it. Unclip/unsnap the mirror glass from the top and then pull upward to get it out of the slots on the bottom. I would feel safer doing it if it was in a heated garage at this point in the year. That plastic tends to break when its as cold as its been.
The lights are LEDs. Several guys have removed the lenses to tint them, even posted a how to with pictures.. They're basically held in place with plastic clips molded onto the plastic. So you need a soft trim tool to remove them. As cold as it's been, I'd make sure it is also warm or the clips may break.

very simple to remove, start prying the trim on the side closest to the glass. They pop right out. The lights are on a circuit board and slim chance that they are loose.
They are sealed similar to the headlights, so some patience is needed to open without damage.

Warranty does not include wear items like bulbs. Besides, do you want to take the time to take your truck to a dealer (min an hour) to replace or plug in a bulb? I imagine if I went there and raised enough of a stink they would replace it, but then I am in for 90 minutes
The only way I take it in is if turns out to be wiring, the socket or moisture causing corrosion.
