Default How pissed would you be if this happened to you?

I parked the truck in front of my house while I was snowblowing the driveway when we got our 14 inches on snow this weekend. A city plow truck was coming down the street(we live on a dead end street) and he turned on the salt thrower right before he got to my truck. All I hear is all this salt being thrown all down the side, to make matters worse he backs up and does it again. I went a washed the truck after and found scratches from where the salt hit the truck. I didnt think it would scratch it but I guess those salt throwers chuck that salt pretty fast.

Similar thing happened to me 2 weeks into owning my truck. Im driving pretty slowly through a coned area of the street that just had fresh pavement laid. Out f know where some A **** speeds in front of me cutting me off kicking up fresh gravel all over the front of my truck. Put about a dozen scratches and chips in the hood and front fenders.

I wouldnt have been happy, especially about the asphalt gravel. I clear bra every new vehicle I buy, because of how poorly new vehicles are painted.

Happened to me when I was in college, had a Cutlass at the time. Hit me while I was driving down the road, put several chips in my paint. Not a whole lot you can do about it. When I see them coming head on I now get way over, sometimes even turn off if I can.

Maybe living in South TX isn't all that bad after all! Maybe once a year or so we have some dirt/salt put down on the bridges only, and most of the time they do it overnight so it doesn't affect traffic. Jeff.
