great truck
Get a $50 tailgate EZ Down and your tailgate will fold down nice and slow, too.
I got mine earlier this week and put it on with just the tools that came with it, plus a heat gun and some Loctite, in about 30 minutes, in the dark.
The only thing my truck doesn't have that I really miss is a keyless entry keypad on the driver's door. I had that on my last two trucks and I used it all the time to lock my keys in the truck. It's really handy to, for example, go out in a boat or canoe and not have to worry about my keyfob getting wet or falling in the drink. Or go ride my dirtbike in the woods and not have to worry about my keyfob getting lost or crunched by a rock.

Former F150 guy here. I passed on a Dodge Ram sport on 2004 in favor of the new F150 because of the interior ( for me, that console shift and bucket seats could not be beat). Had 3 F150's since then and for 09 had a loaded FX4 for the afternoon to drive. Then I drove this new Ram and never looked back. Bye bye Ford.. and these things do not even need a tuner to have decent performance...
I have the ST Quad Cab 4x4, and love it. MPG isn't the best but when buying a truck what do you expect. It's very well loaded, considering its an ST, I wish I did have a console, but thats ok. The ride is extremly confortable, and it looks great. No problems yet and waiting for the warmer weather to visit the dealer for any recalls.
I have been driving Dodge pickups since 1995 when I bought a new Ram and have had a 99 and a 03 Ram since then. I looked around at the competition last summer and was considering a Toyota. I had heard so much about them I assumed they were the best. Then last summer my friend got a new Tundra and we took it on a trip to Southern Canada and that's when the bubble burst for me. That Tundra only got 11.4 mpg up there and back and was a huge disappointment to me. I would rather have kept my 03 Ram as to have traded for the Tundra.
So then I decided to drive the new Dodge and am glad I did. I ordered a 2010 Laramie and I love this truck. I've only put on around 4000 miles but I have enjoyed every mile. I just hope Chrysler can stay afloat cause the rest of their lineup is not exactly awe inspiring. But if the new Ram is a look at what we can expect from Chrysler I feel quite good about that.
I sure get a lot of guys looking through the windows at my new Ram and that makes me feel good to know they like the looks of it too. Time will tell if it is durable but at least it has a great start.
