Not really... the cab is lower... just makes the truck look smaller... I've gotten used to it now but it bugged me for a while. I agree that the interior and ride quality is top notch.

I agree with you all, and I am planning on going in to look into ordering a 2010, I love them. I had a 2005, 2006, and now my 2008, and want a 2010. We'll see, I am just concerned that the incentives are not that great right now. Might wait until about May, would have my current truck for 2 years then. When I purchased my 2008, I paid over $10,000 less than the sticker, but I do not foresee that happening with the 2010's. Anyone reading this order their truck? I have only purchased trucks off of the lot from the same dealer, 4 trucks from them since I've been driving. I am just curious as to how easy the ordering process is. Thanks.

Perhaps you won't have to wait that long. Try going to your dealer at the end of the month. If they are low on their quota for the month, they'll usually spruce up the deal to get your business. You have to be willing to walk away to truly get the best deal possible though.

The "ease" of factory ordering really depends on the dealer. Obviously they want to sell you one off the lot. One that has dealer installed options, that is where they make cake. They do not make much off orders because usually you are getting the options you want from the factory.

I worked with 2 dealers for my '10 Laramie. One wanted nothing to do with a factory order. They wanted $2500 more for one that was modded by them for what I wanted(minus the rambox) than another dealer wanted on a factory order with a rambox and more options. It wasn't until I was on my way out the door that they relented on a factory order. I did not use them, but I will do a drive by when I finally get my new ride.

I traded my 2008 with 11k miles for a 2009 last November, got a huge discount off the MSRP. I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever, this is a huge improvement over the 3rd gen truck. Interior is much nicer, rides smooth, lots of power, doesn't feel like a truck but more like an suv with a bed. The one thing I never liked about my 2008 was the trucky ride and feel, I came to it from a 2007 Honda Ridgeline which has more of an suv ride and handling, although extremely underpowered.

I traded in my 07QC for an 09CC. The 09 is WAY more truck, the extra power is awesome and i had a superchips in the 07 (Still waiting on the 09 to release) my 09 would smoke the 07 all day! The interior is a step up as well. I dont regret the 4th Gen at all!

@Unknownfire22 I know what you are going through. I know it's tough! We are in the exact same boat except mine is a Laramie, not a sport. My 2008 has only 12500 miles. I was really happy with it until my trip from South to North Texas this past Christmas-- first rain, then snow, and later ice and no 4x4. I was thinking about replacing the stock speakers with the Kicker Mopar package, adding dual exhaust, throwing a tool box in the back and leveling it. Oh yeah! and i was ticked about MyGig not being an option on the 2008 Rams. Now I'm looking at a 2010 4wd Laramie Crew cab (also upgrading from my present Quad Cab) which comes with a 506w sound system with 30gbs of HDD space, dual exhaust and the RamBox. What I think I'll do, if i can wait that long, is stick with what I have until Nov or Dec when the 2011 are coming in and the dealers are cutting deals on their 2010. I did that with a 2007 Ram and got 10k off the MSRP! Also, a friend of mine was telling me to "build" one on the Dodge website and submit to get a quote over online. The info is sent to a number of dealers in your area and you can see who gives you the best trade-in value for what you got and also the best price on what you want. i think I'll do this some time in May and see what I get. If I don't like what I hear then, then I'll just wait 'till Dec.

Well I am still thinking about it. People have been posting on here about how much they have gotten off of their stick prices. Is it still possible to get as much off of the stickers? I've seen over $10,000 off on here lately! I chose the Sport model in either mineral gray metallic or mango tango pearl. I wish that rugged brown was available in Sport! But regardless, the sticker for the truck is about $41,000. Think it's possible to pick up for around $30,000?
