Default Black

Love it and Hate it....cant beat it when it is clean but as anyone who owns black knows not only does it get dirty but it gets scratched, marked, nicked etc..more than any other, well at least it seems that way I bought this truck sight unseen on a dealer trade as I wanted an 09 due to the rebates and lifetime warranty. Only thing I changed was having the white lettering on the tires turned in as I felt it was too busy with all the chrome. I am not sold on the bed rails but my wife likes them.......

few pics when clean....also since this was the first time I cleaned this truck I realized a few things:
  • It is big, this took me a LONG time....next time I may spend the $50-$60 to have it hand waxed.
  • the wheels are not solid, almost seems like a chrome hub cap, i did not know what "crome clad" meant
  • really cool lines, the waxing made me realize how much they put into the trucks "lines"

I like it as well, your truck is the first Ram I've seen with them, they don't bother me at all. Yea you're right about black, just like another post said, when it's clean, you can't beat it..............Kevin.

Which dealer did you buy from? I am looking at getting a 2010 as early as today.

Man the other day, we got the truck waxed at the dealer, we have a friend who works there...anyway its the paint sealant but no paper work and for free. Anyway it was dry out finally, we were the shiniest Black Ram or any vehicle for that matter it looked awesome everyone looks at ya when its shiny Black, I have the sport , only chrome is steps and badges which I think the RAM on the doors is going, hemi can stay, will wait till spring.
Don't you find your truck really gets dirty without mudflaps?

Had and 02 ram, 04 hemi in black and loved them both, but love my Austin Tan much more, only wax/wash it by hand so you don't get swirls and scratches, they will show like a mother in the sun.

Default hand wash

definitely, wont go to a machine, one time and it is over....i got lucky with this truck as it must have been inside since it was delivered. No swirl or water marks and it was built in April.

I may get mud flaps, any type people recommend?

They're harder to find for our trucks with the fender flares. I think Husky makes some custom fit ones... other than that you've gotta go generic.
