I hang stuff on the driver's side hook. I'd rather have that part of the back window blocked than the rear side window on the driver's side. When I turn my head to check my blind spot before moving to the left, I look out that window. Having clothes there on previous trucks has been a problem for me.

I do, I travel extensively for work and use the space with the seat folded up for payload. My winter coat and my garment bag on trips blocks about 1/2 of the window.

The hooks are on the back because if they are on the sides, there could be issues with proper deployement of the side airbags. (in owners manual)

Default The $10 fix

I used 1” pipe and 2 clips that attached to the hooks behind the head rest. Works great, easy to remove and folds

i just use those two tabs that you hung that contraption on, works great and i didnt need to add anything like that to the truck. Doesnt block any more of my view than the rear headrests already do either
