Default sorry but

I have to ask and I hate to write complaints....after 1k miles I am hearing a vibration of types somewhere in the dash when I stop/start or ride on bumpy areas. I did a search and see this discussed and resolved in a few different ways. I also noticed that when I close the passenger front door something rattles afterward. When I close the rear it does not do it the same way. what is odd os the rattle seems to be coming from the bed area.

anyone have the same?

Should be a warranty issue. I'd let the dealer fix it, assuming it can be replicated.

If you have a console model, the plastic trim pieces rub together and "sing" on cold days. As mentioned earlier, watch the dang seat belt buckles on the side post.

The rattle on door close may be the cab pressure equalization vent(s) that is located behind the back seat. It's a flap type "valve" that seats against plastic. My Dakota does it with front and rear door closure. A way to test the theory is to close the door with a window open. If you still hear the rattle then my diagnosis is not applicable.

Disassembled dash/console/interior trim panels to install strategic foam strips. Rattling/squeaking is eliminated.

What foam strip product did you use? Any special tools to remove the parts?

Used to do BSR audits at WTAP (bump/squeak/rattle). 3M foam tape and various trim tools.

When you close the rear door, are you certain that it isn't the exhauster (between the cab and bed) making noise as the air pressure leaves the cab?

I have noticed as well that the center console makes a "squeak" noise. I have found it is the chrome plastice piece. In addition, on cold days if you grab the cup holders with one hand and wiggle you will replicate this noise. As for the seat belt I totally agree. I can't stand that everytime someone sits in my passenger seat the seat belt does not sit the right way and hits the door pillar... Very annoying noise!!!
