Oh man I just called Sirius...the dam royalty fee has hit here too, main account 10 bucks, secondary accounts 7 bucks roughly. Also that price I say 107 was for the secondary account, I did not realize my truck even though being paid by dealer is the main account so i got a deal on second account so when mine runs out in the truck its the main account so its 169 plus royalty fees and tax. Its gonna be like 200 for one car,hmmm our cds. over 300 I think it was got ripped off before we could get them all in the hdd or as many as we could, we got like 50 in there. Insurance only covers the one in the radio. So we pay twice to listen to music. I haven't downloaded music in a bit not free anyway. I started buying cds and paying for music. Screw it now if I have to pay extra to listen to it on the radio. Have you seen the poor artists homes on Cribs and other shows. The cars they drive and they need a petty 60 cents a months from me! Time to get creative. Better yet my broinlaw has a larger collection than I did. I will just listen to his...listen to his. Maybe he will lend me his copies he made for himself in case he loses the original,to listen to. I wouldn't dare make a copy no way that would be wrong.

 

the guy that sold me my truck said to let the free year run out and then call them and tell them you just bought the truck and they will give you another year for free...dont know if that will work....i also heard that someone here in town never registerd theirs fron the dealers lot and got free satellite radio for years...haha...

I just re - upped .. mine exp on the 19th of feb. I told them about the 3 months for 1 month.
My wife radio exp. in Sept. so I got mine for 8.99 and 3 months free ..
There is a .94 cent add for artist
Mine will bill every 3 months at 29.00

I guess "double jeopardy" only applies to criminal cases. We are paying twice for one service. You would think they would be smart enough to just add the artists fee into the cost and not even mention it. Now, they wave a flag saying we charge you two times for the same thing.

I lived without satellite radio before and I can do it again. It will just take a little getting used too.
