thmup are you running 91 octane or 89 with the 91 tune?
Mine still shifts the same,I like the snapier feel, it is not harsh but firm,
the top speed limiter is there ,but there is so much information ,I had to go slower the second time, I am still finding things this will do.
One thing that I found ,is the gas mileage on the EVIC reports a lot faster, what I mean is on mine it gest up past 20 a lot faster, shorter distance traveled,on the highway,i am going witht e MPG to see what it does this weekend,i know what my best is so far,and i hope it is better

I'm making a run up to NC today for the weekend so I just put the XS tune into the truck. Be interesting to see how much difference it makes on the open road at highway speeds.

I probably have close to a 91 octane in the tank, partial 89 and some 93. I'll hook the programmer back up today and look through it, I might have just missed the speed limiter. I'll also drive the truck more this weekend, been driving the Vette cause the weather has been so nice

Have you tried the 93 tune? I am using it with 91 juice (all I can get here) and its awesome. Mine shifts at higher RPMS and much harder. Still have the TM at launch but across the band power has increased very notably. The first victim of my new tune was an 09 Nissan Altima 3.5SE, not sure how fast they are but I am sure he was not quite as fast as he needed to be.

Okay, so I made it up to NC in one piece. Long post.....

Had filled the truck with 93 octane the night before so the first tank of gas was 93 with the XS tune. I ran between 72-75mph on this tank. Had one nasty stretch in Georgia that slowed me down to a crawl for 45 miles. I managed to get 19.3mpg as indicated by the computer. My best ever to date had been 17.8mpg. The first tank was also hindered by a ENE to WSW headwind which would have normally taken the mileage down to 16 to 16.8 mpg. Also managed to go 395 miles on this tank before the fuel light came on, I have the 26 gallon tank. I've never seen better than 340 before the light came on. All in all I was very pleased with the real increase.

Tank # 2 of gas was filled with 89 octane. Now I was in SC cruising again at 72-75mph but the I-95 is starting to get a few more hills than Florida. I drove 260 miles on this tank before arriving at my families. Computer indicated 18.5 mpg. The 260 miles was showing just a little more than half the tank empty so it was still doing a whole lot better than previous road trips. I normally go about 210-220 miles on half a tank for interstate driving.

All in all I'd have to say the XS tune is giving me about 10-15% better gas mileage. I have the TRX4 4x4 Crew Cab with the Hemi so I'm running 3.92 gears. This trip with this truck takes a solid 1 3/4+ tanks of gas. This trip I did it with 1 1/2. That's about $15-$20 savings in gas.

ok, i have had the 93 oct. tune in for about 500 miles. its amazing. anyway. got to test it out for mileage, recently a trip up north.

the best i ever got in my truck doing 70mph was about 18mpg. same speed i now get 20-21mpg.

around 60mph i get 23mpg. !! incredible.

The Superchips tuner is definitely on my "must buy" list. I've just got to get this rear end whine taken care of before I can spend the cash anywhere else.
