2009 Ram Hemi Superchips Tuning Released
That is what sucks mine is an early build too, so I thought all would be good, I called today and was told it "should " be today. Not blaming Superchips, but I have had this thing total for 2 weeks now . shipping problems, computer input problems, then combiner down problems.
I just got my email today. I haven't been home yet. So i'm guessing yours should be soon.
Got an email today that my update was ready, sounds like Superchips had an issue with their server as well.. So tonight I got home and tried the update.. "Bootloader Error" AHHHH!!! The Cortex locked up, wouldn't do anything. I finally had to unplug it after it sat there for an hour, now it says "Error recovering tuner. Contact Superchips Customer Care"

Got my e-mail yesterday, it really was worth the wait, the shifts are just like I wanted them no stutter before the shift or hesitation, even going slow, the top speed limiter is gone, verified at the track, and it turned 14.8/14.9 on the data screen, full tank of 89 on the 87 tune, 3:21's and 20's, not to bad for a heavy truck mine is a crew cab
set mine at 5950 1/2 and 3/4 shifts to start
rev limiter 6400
top speed 140
lowered the high speed fan to come on sooner
87 tune for now, till I run the gas out
you are going to love this thing, the data logging is an option you put on it after you download the program, after it is done look on the screen and it will have the option of installing free upgrades (DO IT), then it will e-mail you again when those are ready, and it only took about 5 minutes to get that one then download it again, its real quick, then it will show you all the cool features, wait till you see the data stream you can see on the engine while you drive,
The idle is really smooth now and the exhaust sound is different, also when you first start it up,the engine will suge a little atfirst,(2) times then wont do it again, that is weird, another poster told me his did the same thing,I dont know.
Something I noticed, dont move the tuner or the cables at all, my laptop ,was in the way so I moved it while it was loading, and got the boot loader error,re-tried,and it worked, mine locked up ,and told me to call superchips, I just pushed some of the buttons, and it cleared it, or went around it, I wish I knew what I pushed, I was not thinking real good at the time. I am sure there is a procedure to get this done, hang in there and report back after you get it all in

Sobo, its funny you said that, we are going to San Antonio this weekend, and I am trying to decide on the 87 tune or the gas mileage tune,
here are some things that I would like to know
Maybe Superchips can give us the reaction download for the gas pedal, so it will react faster,I know it is possible,I would like a quicker feel to the pedal
will the 87 tune, detune the engine below stock running, while using 89---
does anyone run the 91 tune while using 89

I got mine to update today, Superchips sent me an email response early this morning in regards to the trouble ticket I placed last night. Seems it was an error on the server end that caused the Bootloader failure.
So I have the truck tuned with the 91 octane tune, stock shift points. I did not see the speed limiter adjustment. The truck runs better, much more responsive and strong in the low to mid range. I didn't really care for the full throttle shift feel, but then again I have only put a few miles on the truck since the tune. Does the shift improve as I put miles on so that the computer adjusts?
