that pain in the butt click you experienced is you pulled out the thing the screw goes into. I see you clip has a square hole, I bet you have a screw still in your 120 v plug that has a square clip on it. You might have to find a jnut or something to fix that. Good luck . I looked at a picture I have from when I did mine and it has a spot for the screw to unscrew from.

I think you pulled the nut out of the bracket for your 120 v look at the bracket on yours big square hole, mine has a spot for a screw to go into. You might have to use a jclip to fix it.

yep.. i just pulled the hell out of it lol..

kinda like how i ****ed up the clip behind my headlights and now they have a very small gap now lol

Doc, I have found that most of these clips etc. come off fairly easy if they seem to be too hard then start looking for screws. You are gonna have to unscrew the screw in there and hang on to the part you ripped out, man you must have really pulled I am surprised the plastic did not crack, and way like I said a j nut where the weld nut was and you should be ok.So when you get your dash back anyway? You are lucky cuz without the switch hooked up to the 4wd wiring it is in 4wd. Just in case anyone else wants to do this and has 4x4.
