Default dash is apart

if you ever wanted to take your dash apart.. just take out a few screws and PULL lol

but seriously.. there is a click behind the AC power outlet that is a bitch...

parts got sent off to the painter.. should have then back mon or tuesday... gonna match my hood and tail gate

I think the hardest part was taking off the trim ring around the shifter. Did you find any tricks for doing that?

i had a foot long flat head screw driver.. a thin version... just stuck it in side ways and pushed in while prying up

There is a screw in the AC outlet part that has to be taken out is there not, more than a click.

You can get it from the dealer or online or even at a stained glass store its a nylon tool called a Fid or in auto terms I don't know other than I used to use it for millions of things in the plant from finishing installing trim. In the second picture there is a green plug that is just plugged into the dash, just into a spot for it to fit,its not making an electrical connection just in the plastic to basically hold it there from rattling I am sure, does anyone know what this plug is for? it is a few inches to the right of where the key goes in
You can drive your truck like this but word of warning if you have 4x4 you will be driving in 4x4 without the switch hooked up. We found this out the hard way.

That would be the GNDN plug. Don't mess with it.

Why an answer like that if you don't know what it is? Goes Nowhere Does Nothing....you are dealing with another Canadian but I guess the BC ones smoke better pot? So do you know or does anyone else know? How about an edumicated guess. (better clarify I know how the spelled educated)
