Worst Truck Ever
I agree with matt3. The lemon law is out there to protect the few unfortunate consumers like yourself. Throw this term around and the dealer will probably jump through hoops to help out. Otherwise, do some research and possibly pursue getting your truck classified as a lemon. This way you can save all that money you would lose by trading in your truck.
I would say that you should go to a different dealer, I just left my truck last night because of a slight buzzing at 1600 rpm and it was pulling a little to the left and by this morning it was at the alignment shop and a new muffler was on order also a rrt on bolts for the exhaust system
Well I looked into the Lemon Law and it appears that I don't qualify for it. The dealership says they are fixing everything as it happens. However as you said, some of my issues are nightmarish. Who wants to drive a truck that was already deamed undrivable by the manufacturer, especially when it was the brakes. I tow a boat twice a week and will hold Dodge 100% liable if the brakes fail and I rearend someone and damage my boat as a result of faulty brake system. It was put in writing to them and verbally to the dealership that I felt it was unsafe.
I'm currently considered getting an attorney to settle the matter. Chrysler won't listen to me, I'm just another $ to them. It's disapointing that manufacturer's and dealer's won't stand behind their product like they should. Not to mention, the five times I've had to get a rental they were: rav4, impala, subaru, dodge compact. They refused to give me an equivalent vehicle to drive. It's a little frustrating when your paying that much a month and get something like that to drive. The one time the rental place did have a dodge ram, I took it and they refused to reimburst me for it. I argued with them over it and they finally agreed to reimburst, but I have yet to see that. Just more ammo for the attorney.

To qualify under the North Carolina Lemon Law or the federal Lemon Law, you must generally have a product that suffered multiple repair attempts under the manufacturer’s factory warranty. Lemon Law compensation can include a refund, replacement or cash compensation.
RamJack:
If your truck had that many issues, why didn't you get a lawyer? Bet Dodge would buy the truck back or at least give you a new truck. If not, that did you consider contacting your local tv news "call for action" section. With a story like you have, the dealership and Dodge would definately be bending over backwards to make things right.
So, are you keeping the truck or getting rid of it?
By the way, I have had mine for a little over a year. Only issues have been a few dash squeeks and the tailgate trim. I still like mine.

Contact your local Attorney General and see what they have to say. If I remeber correctly they wrote me a letter for a vehicle that was odometer fraud before. (I was prior Army, and when I was young I had a dealer try to take advantage of me) Anyway they helped a lot in that case and they are free.
